Attitudes towards the dying and death anxiety in acute care nurses: can a workshop make any differences? A mixed-methods evaluation

A two-day multi-modal end-of-life (EOL) care workshop was designed to help reduce nurses' death anxiety and improve their skills, knowledge and attitude towards palliative care in an acute care hospital. An exploratory mixed-methods evaluation was carried out to evaluate nurses' EOL knowledge and death anxiety pre- and post- workshop.
